30 Days of Gratitude Journalling

It has been a while since I’ve written. Many things have happened since January (and they just keep coming) that have left me physically and mentally empty. There are days when I forget to eat and if breathing wasn’t an automatic function, I’m not sure I’d remember to do that!

I haven’t felt creative and when I have, I am usually too tired, it is too late, or I have to make dinner. Or, since March 1, my studio has been in boxes in my husband’s photo studio as we finally were able to do the studio/office build for me!

A couple of months ago, I had a ’30 days of’ enter some type of journalling (but spelled with one “l”) pop up on my Facebook feed from a page called Ordinary and Happy. I did, faithfully, follow their prompts for both April and May, in my paper journal. Sometimes it was one sentence, sometimes it was two pages.

When I saw June’s prompts, it struck me – those would be really good for sharing on my website. So… For all of June, I will share my gratitude here.

A month of gratitude, because while this year has been one of the absolute hardest of my life, I believe it is a good time to reflect and see the good things – in the past, what is coming, and in the present.
